You can request deletion even if you have uninstalled Kacha ID. Email hi@thelonelab.com with the subject Kacha ID account deletion request. Include the email address you used to sign in, or the account ID shown in Settings → Request account deletion. If you used an anonymous account and no longer have the app or account ID, tell us what information you still have so we can assess whether the account can be identified.
We will verify that you control the account before deleting it. Do not send a password, identity document, or photo. We may reply with verification steps. The request itself does not instantly delete the account.
After verification, we will delete the Firebase sign-in account and associated server-side Kacha ID data, including the community profile and notes, votes and reports, project metadata, and optional travel-interest signals. We will confirm when the request has been handled, or explain if a specific record cannot be located.
Photos and processed files stored only on your device are not accessible to us and are not removed by a server-side deletion. Delete projects in the app or uninstall it to remove its private files. Files you exported or shared elsewhere must be removed from those destinations separately.
